AN INCOME MAINTAINED DURING YOUR ABSENCE

Military, civilian or civil protection service, maternity, paternity or caregiving leave: IC (Income Compensation) compensates for part of your salary during these periods of absence.

YOUR IC SITUATION

If your employer continues to pay your usual salary during your absence, the allowance is paid to them as reimbursement. If not, the allowance is paid directly to you and is calculated on the basis of your average income before the absence.

In both cases, your employer submits the claim to our fund. You simply need to provide the necessary supporting documents (service orders, medical certificate for maternity leave, etc.).

OUR FAQ TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS

Who fills in my APG (loss of earnings compensation) application?

You receive the form from the body responsible for the service (army, civil protection), or you complete it yourself for maternity/paternity leave. Your employer then completes the section concerning your salary before sending it on to us.

Will I receive the allowance directly?

It depends: if your employer continues to pay your usual salary during your absence, they receive the allowance. Otherwise, it is paid directly to you.

Is the EO allowance subject to social security contributions?

Yes. Amounts paid as EO allowances must be included in the salaries declared, just like any other salary component.
