UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS DEDUCTED FROM YOUR SALARY

OASI, IC, family allowances: several contributions appear on your payslip. Your employer calculates and pays them on your behalf, but it is useful to understand what they are for and what entitlements they provide.

The CVCI OASI fund helps you understand your situation as an insured person, even though you do not manage these procedures directly yourself.

OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why does a contribution appear on my payslip even though I have not taken any action?

Your employer deducts your share of the contributions (5.3% for OASI/DI/EO) directly from your gross salary and then pays it to our compensation office together with the employer’s own share. You do not need to take any action regarding these contributions.

How do I apply for my OASI pension when the time comes?

The OASI pension is never paid automatically. Ask your employer for the application form at least 6 months before your intended retirement date, so that it reaches our compensation office 3 to 4 months before your chosen date.

Can I check that my contributions have been correctly recorded?

Yes. You can request an extract from your individual OASI account at any time to check that all your contribution years have been correctly recorded.
