Volontary membership for accompanying persons
Spouses or registered partners, accompanying persons posted abroad (outside EU/EFTA countries or signatory states), who are not gainfully employed, can maintain AVS insurance coverage. They must submit a request for voluntary affiliation to our Compensation Fund, mentioning the connection with the person posted whom they are accompanying, and the departure date. They will have to enclose copies of their identity card, family register, and marriage certificate or registered partnership certificate.
